For this assignment, we were prompted to create a demotivational meme, just like the demotivational posters that used to be around before the existence of internet memes. I utilized the meme-making tool that Cripps suggested and it was really simple and easy, but also very fun. The first thing that came to mind was college. It’s always advertised in schools as the best option, at least when I was in high school. But it is really challenging and if you don’t have the right scholarships, screws you financially in the future. That’s why I thought that it’d be a perfect option for this demotivational meme prompt and I like how it came out.
