Seeing that the date today is [technically] a perfect palindrome, I decided to flip the numbers palindrome style to create something more than just numbers: A heart. I thought this was fitting for the month of February since this month’s holiday is Valentine’s Day. I decided to make the numbers pink for the same reason, and add the date in the middle to highlight the importance of the 2/2/22 date. (Even if you flip those two sets of 2’s, they will create two hearts, and in the second month of the year!) I did what my eyes first saw when looking at the DS106 prompt, and put together what I could using Google Slides and a little bit of cropping. It’s not much, but I think the simplicity of it makes it meaningful in the way that even the slightest adjustments of perspective can create a picture with a whole new meaning.
